In 1982, Andrew's journey began as a kiddo cleaning trays behind a Yarraville butcher shop. At fifteen, he started his apprenticeship, and by eighteen, he owned his first store. Fueled by his passion for charcuterie, he partnered with his father, Emmanouil, to run 'Andrew & Emmanouils Meat Supply' until 1989 when he founded Andrew's Choice.

Training in Europe and winning the National Sausage King title in 1994 marked the start of his award-winning path and in 2006, Andrew and his wife Alexia established the Smokehouse in Laverton North, prioritizing passion, tradition, and quality over size.

All we can say is that the sausages are incredible, the chilli cheese kransky’s are next level and all their produce is so versatile! Don’t even get Mamma started on the Christmas hams that have won the prestigious Australian PorkMark Ham Awards since 2012 in all categories PLUS their Father’s Day Gift pack is excellent value!
