fairy park, anakie

*temporarily closed (some open days late April - check their website)

Fairy Park is very special to this Mamma. I first visited over 35 years ago and now we just keep coming back with my own kids. The fact that it's still operational and thriving brings a tear to my eye. It was built in 1959 when the displays were predominantly made by hand and despite being updated it still holds its magical kitschy qualities.

The park is FULL of fun from over 20 fairytale displays, a Camelot playground, dragons and inspiring castles.

This is one you must see for young and ahem.... old. Bring a picnic and make use of the picnic tables or check out the kiosky food options available on weekends and school holidays.

There is also ample shelter provided too if it's rainy - so you can enjoy this special spot no matter the weather!
Mamma says bookings are recommended.

Mamma's special mention: For a wholesome feed and a cuppa, stop in at The Old Workshop Cafe just up the road and del Rios Winery is a fantastic spot for a lunch too!
