inverlochy playground @ coogoorah park, anglesea

Arrgh, let it be known that Mamma LOVES a pirate shipped themed park - and this is surely one of the best. This playground has been hidden in Coogoorah Park for quite a long time now but it really is timeless AND is named after a 1902  local shipwreck. Very cool. Make sure you walk the plank - but don't get eaten by the sharks that are circling, then find the treasure map and go on a hunt to find the hidden treasure chest! Mamma may have put some treasure in there...and maybe leave some treasure of your own?  There are swings, spinny things, a hammock, the huge ship structure, shelter and a bbq, plus a separate playground on the other side of the shelter. The playground has an amazing view of the wetlands and nature reserve which is complete with paths and bridges for you to keep adventuring!.

Mamma's special mention: Love a pirate ship playground too? Why not try Bayview Park and Riverside Park Aberfeldie. There is heaps to do in this part of Anglesea along the river, Jumpz Outdoor Trampoline Park, or grab some lunch at The Maids Pantry, or try a canoe and paddle bike hire.
