footscray park, footscray

This is one of Mamma's favourite parks in the West. It is one of the best examples of an Edwardian public gardens in Victoria and has a genuine noble feel to match. Take your time and enjoy the expansive green lawns, prolific trees and flowers, marvel at the elaborate duck pond - make sure you try and spot the giant orange Koi too - then explore the playground. With spectacular panoramic views of the Maribyrnong river, Footscray Park is guaranteed to win over everyone!

The park is quite hilly at times and has lots of steps in parts BUT there are paths and ramps all throughout so you can get around with a pram.

Also, the amazing Footscray Park play space makes this place even more AWESOME!

Mamma's special mention: For a bit of a change form your weekly supermarket - Mamma says pop into Footscray Market to stock up for the family.
