bonfield reserve, keilor

This small neighborhood park in Keilor has a big history and a great view! The tall colorful pencils that make up the main wooden structure represent the school that was originally on the site. You can still see the recently uncovered blue stone footings and the old drinking well has been made into a circular seat preserving the heritage of the Keilor State School built here in 1875.

Mamma's special mentions: Don't expect a huge array of equipment here - there is one lovely wooden structure with climbing webs and ropes, a mammoth slide and swings but it's unique, a little quirky and overlooks a lovely tree filled valley, making it a nice spot to relax whilst the kids play.
