You know when you basically roll out of a restaurant with full bellies and everyone exclaims how good that was, you’re on to a winner. Meat Mechanics has just opened in Altona near Altona Primary School and it is absolutely delicious.

The Meat Mechanics (Saurabh and Qunal) are the guys behind the food truck business by the same name, but decided to open a permanent space so we can enjoy their food all the time! Which we will be!

Everything we ate we LOVED - and we ate a lot. Burger, wings, nachos, ribs, loaded fries, mac n cheese croquettes, and by golly the desserts…(have heard the pizza is excellent too). So much is made in house here - and you can tell by the incredible flavours. The menu is vast, with something for everyone, including gluten free and veg options too!

You can dine in, take away or order online, plus they do catering as well.
