Mamma says get excited about this one….

This December, the doors of MoPA will open in Geelong - a fun and creative space for families to experience, enjoy, create and learn together.

With immersive exhibits covering art, maths, engineering and technology. And spaces ranging from mazes and cubbies to custom built racing tracks - families will have an absolute blast in creating magic together.

The brain child of co directors (and husband and wife team) Thomas Mahon and Billie Georgieff, this space is aimed at babies all the way up to early school years…

“We are building MoPA because we believe, and research continues to support, that many of life's most important lessons are learned in one's early years, principally during play. We want to provide a fun and creative space for families to play; a space filled with opportunities for these rich experiences to occur, and a space for parents to have access to information about how this play is shaping their littles ones future.

We are also super excited, and truly humbled, to be working with the incredible Professor Peter G. Enticott, PhD (Cognitive Neuroscience) and the incredible team at SEED (Deakin Universities Centre for "Social and Early Emotional Development"), to ensure that their world-renowned research and deep understanding of how our play-based experiences help shape a child's social and emotional wellbeing is leveraged by our team to the fullest extent, and in a variety of ways. How awesome.”

Yep, very awesome indeed!
