storytime, footscray library

Tykes and kiddos love reading a great story, belting out a song or rhyme or doing a little craft activity. Storytime is a great option to get your cherubs through Wednesday Hump Day.

The sessions begin with a hello song, and in between 3-5 books (all matching a theme of the day), there is opportunity to jump up, have a wiggle and sing-a-along with the hand puppets. At the end, there is a craft activity relating to something from the stories read. Babies are captivated by the songs while preschoolers are enthralled by, well… EVERYTHING!

Footscray Library is nice and big and has an entire wing dedicated to children, so there is room to spread out a bit and enjoy this time with your Little People.

Mamma's special mentions: Baby cino time? Head to Little Common. From there… to market, to market! A great spot to do a weekly shop, head to the Footscray Market next door.
