spotswood festival - spotswood

A festival to celebrate the Spotswood slice of the west.

One of our fave westie suburbs is putting on a festival and we can’t wait! Known for institutions like Scienceworks, Two Birds Brewing, and Grazeland, the hidden gem of Spotswood in the inner west is coming of age in 2022 with its first street festival.

With two music stages, over 40 stalls, kids rides and car displays, Hudsons Road will unveil its village ambience to the masses. If you’ve never been to Spotswood before then Saturday April 30 is the day.

The festival will be running from 9am - 5pm and is a local initiative by Better West and is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council through its Make it Happen Grants program, and the Victorian Government through the West Gate Tunnel Project's West Gate Neighbourhood Fund.

Mamma’s special mentions: Kids’ Kingdom will keep the kids busy with free rides on Hope St and car and bike enthusiasts can get their fill of the action on Hall Street at RevHead Corner.
